Woodland Animals - Repeat Pattern

 I had so much fun creating this repeat pattern for a Spoonflower challenge that closes on Wednesday.  I had sketched out quite a few more animal characters but with the time frame I had I just went with couple of animals - over the next few weeks I complete the animal characters and make a little collection of "Woodland Animals".

Juvenile Red Headed Woodpecker in Acylics

 A sold my Red Headed Woodpecker a few weeks ago and the collector who purchased it also wanted a Juvenile one, so I painted this little guy.

Juvenile Red Headed Woodpecker measures 6 x 8 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth Paper.

Day 72 - White Magnolias Couldn't help but paint some birds - I love painting Superb Fairy Wrens. The two wrens were a bit of an experiment as I am thinking of using the digital paintings as references for a traditional acrylic painting - just haven't decided on the size yet for the paintings.
