I love the red feathers of this one and rather enjoyed the challenge of painting them too as you can't use white to lighten them.

Day 72 - White Magnolias Couldn't help but paint some birds - I love painting Superb Fairy Wrens. The two wrens were a bit of an experiment as I am thinking of using the digital paintings as references for a traditional acrylic painting - just haven't decided on the size yet for the paintings.

Welcome Swallow No 2 in acrylics

 I often see these little birds when walking around the lake in my area. They never sit still for long.
