I love how the dancing bear turned out - I will have to turn that one into a card I think.

Day 46, 45, 44 / 100 - Standing Bear, Spring Bear & Little Bear

These ones were rather fun to draw - my favorites one is the Spring Bear, and I will have to think on what I could use it on - maybe a card?

Going forward I am going to post the daily drawing challenge paintings in a group rather than individually as I have other projects that I want to work on that I also want to share. I couldn't help but do a finished illustration for day 19 (Little bear with flower bouquet) and this one is my favourite one to date.

I think I am finally finding my digital style and it will be interesting to see what direction it takes over the next few weeks.

I took the photo of this one ages ago. Rather like how this one turned out - more just a quick study of the animal which retained the sketchiness of the drawing.

Something a bit different today. I rather like the looseness of this one and it something I am trying to incorporate into my art - it is a work in progress through as some days the logical side of my brain takes over and then all I can see is detail, detail and more detail.

Kangaroo in coloured pencils

Really pleased with how this one turned out.  Coloured pencils just seemed suited towards drawing a kangaroo.  Might try a dog next.

Baby Elephant drawing

It has been ages since I have done a pencil drawing and I just couldn't resist drawing this cute baby elephant. I draw it on the NOT watercolour paper as I wanted  more textured surface as oppose to a smooth one. Really pleased with the how the drawing turned out.

Baby Elephant  2 measures 8 x 10 inches and is drawn on Daler - Rowney 'The Langton' NOT 300gsm watercolour paper.
