Baby Elephant drawing

It has been ages since I have done a pencil drawing and I just couldn't resist drawing this cute baby elephant. I draw it on the NOT watercolour paper as I wanted  more textured surface as oppose to a smooth one. Really pleased with the how the drawing turned out.

Baby Elephant  2 measures 8 x 10 inches and is drawn on Daler - Rowney 'The Langton' NOT 300gsm watercolour paper.

Chihuahua ACEO in pencil

I have had this one on my to do list for a while but  couldn't decide if I should paint it or draw it.  Finally decided that it would look great as an ACEO so decide to do it as a pencil drawing. I am rather pleased how it turned out.

Chihuahua measures 3.5 x 2.5 inches and is drawn on Mellotex archival paper.

Emu ACEO pencil drawing

I haven't done a pencil drawing for ages so decided to do an ACEO in pencil.  I thought this Emu was more suited towards a pencil drawing than a painting.  I really enjoyed drawing again so I will do some more graphite aceo's.

Emu ACEO measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is drawn on 250gsm Mellotex paper.

Baby Elephant in pencils

Really enjoyed drawing this little elephant. Decided on a pencil drawing vs a painting as I was a bit busy this week with Christmas preparations  so it was easier just to work on it when I had a bit of free time.   The shops are rather hectic at the moment - will have to go early on Monday to avoid the crowds.  I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

 Baby elephant is drawn on Art Spectrum 210 gsm acid free paper and measures 7.5 x 5.2 inches.
