Scarlet Robin ACEO in acrylics

I decided to paint another Scarlet Robin as I do enjoy painting them - love their vibrant red feathers.  I will have to look for another reference photo as I would like to paint another one but in oils and in a larger format.

Scarlet Robin measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.

Many thanks to  Patrick Kavanagh for the reference photo.

Baby Elephant in pencils

Really enjoyed drawing this little elephant. Decided on a pencil drawing vs a painting as I was a bit busy this week with Christmas preparations  so it was easier just to work on it when I had a bit of free time.   The shops are rather hectic at the moment - will have to go early on Monday to avoid the crowds.  I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Baby elephant is drawn on Art Spectrum 210 gsm acid free paper and measures 7.5 x 5.2 inches.

Many thanks to David Stribbling for the reference photo.
