Superb Fairy Wren No 23 in acrylics

At the end of last year, I decided to purchase the larger sheets of Colourfix Smooth Paper as I wanted to do a few larger paintings.  I sometimes find the 8 x 8 inch a bit small.  So decided to try a 10 x 10 inch and actually found it to be the perfect size.  This is the first one that I painted in  the 10 x 10 inch size and I will be painting more in this size in the coming weeks.

Great Tit No 4 in acrylics

I painted this one a little bit differently - normally I paint the background and then paint the bird on top.  With this one, I used the Atelier Free Flow acrylics to block in the background and bird and then I swapped to  the Atelier Interactives to build up the details. Really pleased with how it turned out.
