Great Tit No 4 in acrylics

I painted this one a little bit differently - normally I paint the background and then paint the bird on top.  With this one, I used the Atelier Free Flow acrylics to block in the background and bird and then I swapped to  the Atelier Interactives to build up the details. Really pleased with how it turned out.

Great Tit No 4 measures  6 x 6 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth Paper.

Great Tit ACEO in acrylics

I really enjoyed painting this one.   Everything just worked and I am really pleased how it turned out.

These birds are found throughout Europe, The Middle East, parts of North Africa and Central and Northern Asia.  They measure around 12.5 - 14 cm in length.


Great Tit measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
