Mistletoebird ACEO in acrylics

I enjoyed painting this one - it  all just worked.  Really pleased with the result.  These birds are found around the most of Australia (they are not present in Tasmania). They are also found in Papua New Guinea  and Eastern Indonesia.  They are about 9 - 10 cm in length and weigh around 7.5 - 11 grams. 

Mistletoebird measure 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
