Brown Crested Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

I love how this one is perched on top of the branch.

Brown Crested Flycatchers breed in Southern California, Nevada & Texas, central Arizona, Argentina, Bolivia, Trinidad and Tabago. The USA resident birds winter in Mexico or Southern Florida. They measure around 20.3 cm in length and weigh about 30 grams.

Brown Crested Flycatcher measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted in Colourfix Smooth Paper.

Red Crowned Woodpecker ACEO in acrylics

Really pleased with how this one turned out - everything just seemed to work.

The Red Crowned Woodpecker is found from South Western Costa Rica, to South Colombia, Venezuela, Guianas and Tobago.  They measure around 20.5 cm in length and weigh about 48 grams.

This one was a bit more tricky to paint than I thought it would but I got there in the end.

Common Waxbills are native to Sub Sahara Africa but have been introduced to many countries around the world. They measure around 11 - 13 cm in length and weigh between 7 - 10 grams.
