Red Crowned Woodpecker ACEO in acrylics

Really pleased with how this one turned out - everything just seemed to work.

The Red Crowned Woodpecker is found from South Western Costa Rica, to South Colombia, Venezuela, Guianas and Tobago.  They measure around 20.5 cm in length and weigh about 48 grams.

Red Crowned Woodpecker measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth Paper.
