Stawberry in acrylics

I felt like a bit of a change so decided to paint a still life which I haven't done for ages.

I enjoyed painting this one so I am planning on painting few more little still life in the coming weeks.

Strawberry measures 4 x 4 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth Paper.

Strawberry in acrylics

I haven't painted a  still life for ages but I bought a punnet of strawberries for a Christmas Eve dessert and they inspired to want to paint one.  Rather enjoyed painting a still life again so will have to do a few more this year. 

It was my last 6 x 6 inch Ampersand Panel so I have order same more which will hopefully arrive next week.  Using a different company this time as the company I used before, half of the panels I ordered arrived damaged so fingers cross this batch will all arrive in one piece.
