This collection was so fun to create, and I really enjoyed painting all the different motifs that make up the patterns.
I have uploaded them to my Spoonflower shop under the collection "Festive Christmas - Candy Canes, Gingerbread Men / Trees and Holly"
Or search product code "19492080" which will take you to one of the patterns shown and you will then find a link to explore the full collection.
The patterns come in various scales and colorways.
I love how this one is perched on the branch and its bright yellow feathers.

Spotted Pardalote No 8 measures 6 x 6 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth paper.I had fun painting this little guy. I took the reference photo for this one down by the one of the man-made lakes in my area - I have seen three species of Fairy wrens there - Superb Fairy Wren, Red Back Fairy Wren and this one the Variegated Fairy Wren.
I had fun creating these cute Cowboy Teddies.
I created a cheater quilt pattern with them in three colourways - blue, sage green and soft brown.I had so much fun creating this pattern for the latest #Spoonflower Cottagecore Wallpaper challenge.
I took the photos of the geese years ago at property I stayed at in Deloraine, Tasmania. I always loved the pose of the one that is facing straight on but never quite got around to painting him in acrylics - he just seemed perfect for this pattern though.
I am planning on adding to this collection - I want to create a tossed version that just features the geese - just deciding if I use these three or add a few more poses into the mix
I have added 4 colorways with 3 scales to my #Spoonflower shop, and they can be found under the Designed Collection - Cozy Countryside .
I had so much fun creating this pattern. The little critter is a Jerboa—they look like miniature kangaroos but are actually rodents. With their big ears, they're just too cute. You’ll find them hopping around the deserts of North Africa and Asia.
I love how this one is perched on the branch—like he’s about to burst into song.
I actually painted this one last year but forgot to blog or list it—whoops!
Most of my time lately has been going into building my Surface Pattern design business and uploading new patterns to my Spoonflower shop. It has been full-on, but I have started to miss painting my birds. So going forward, I am planning to schedule in at least one painting session a month.
