Superb Fairy Wren No 8 in acrylics

I was going through my photos from a few years back and came across the reference photo for this one.  Back then I would have put it into the too hard basket as painting a beak front on is a lot trickier than painting a beak from a side angle.  Now days I am up for a challenge and since I really love the way he is perch on the branch I couldn't resist painting him.

Superb Fairy Wren No 8 measures 6 x 8 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth paper.
