Lesser Kiskadee in acrylics

This one was rather fun to paint.  I did quite a few layers / glazes to get the depth to the feathers and I love how the  bird is offset against the dark background.

Lesser Kiskadee measures 4 x 6 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth Paper.
