Mexican Jay ACEO in acrylics

I love the position this one is perched on the branch.

Mexican Jay's are a large songbird  found in Western Texas, New Mexico and Arizona.  They measure around 29 cm in length and weigh 120 - 135 grams


Mexican Jay measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
