Red Capped Robin in acrylics

I decided to paint another red capped robin but in a larger format.  I always find painting the red feathers a challenge - can't just add white to lighten them so end up mixing white and yellow to create the lighter highlights.

Red Capped Robin measures 4 x 6 inches and is painted on 300gsm Arches smooth watercolour paper.
