Fall in acrylics

I love the colours of autumn. This one was fun to paint.   I used the rough watercolour paper as I wanted to create a bit of texture for the trees.

We have been having our normal winter weather for the last couple of weeks which has been lovely.  Went down to Redcliffe the other day (about a 15 minute drive away ) and had fish and chips on the beach - the water was crystal clear - I haven't seen the water that clear for a while.  I will have to take advantage of the weather as I think we are going to be in for a very hot summer.

Fall measures 7 x 5 inches and is painted on 300gsm rough Arches watercolour paper.

Many thanks to Ann Campbell for the reference photo.
