Mexican Chickadee ACEO in acrylics

This one was fun to paint - everything just seemed to work.

As the name suggests, Mexican Chickadees are found in Mexico and also in  the extreme South Eastern Arizona and South Western New Mexico. They measure around 12.5 to 13.5 cm  in length and weigh between 7.5 - 11 grams.

Hooded Warbler in acrylics

I love the different angle of this ones head.  It was a bit more tricky to paint and I used quite a few glazes to get the depth to the feathers.  Really pleased with how I turned out.

Golden Crowned Sparrows are large American Sparrow which are found in western parts of North America.  They measure between 15 - 18 cm in length and weigh between 30 - 33 grams.
