This is another one that I just love the angle that it is perched - really pleased with how it turned out.

Yellow Throated Vireo measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.

Yellow Throated Vireo ACEO in acrylics

Yellow Throated Vireo's are a small songbird that are found in Southern Canada and Eastern United States during the breeding months.  They migrate to Central America, the  deep southern United States and Mexico.  They range between 13 - 15 cm in length and weigh between 15 - 21 grams.
