Blue Winged Warbler ACEO in acrylics

Really pleased with how this one turned out.  It is always a bit tricky to get definition to feathers that are all one colour - used quite a few glazes.


Blue Winged Warblers are found in North America.  They are a small songbird measuring between 11 - 12 cm in length and weigh around 9 grams.

Blue Winged Warbler measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
