Poppy in watercolours

I decided to paint this one in watercolours.  Really pleased with how it turned out.

I finished my Christmas shopping today - thank goodness - shops were hectic as usual.   Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Poppy measures 8 x 8 inches and is painted on 300gsm Daler Rowney "The Langton" NOT watercolour paper.
