Hepatic Tanager ACEO in acrylics

Really enjoyed painting this one. Was rather tricky getting the depth to the red feathers and I
ended up using quite a few glazes to get there.

Hepatic Tanager's are a medium sized American songbird. They measure around 20 cm in length and weigh between 23 - 47 grams.

Hepatic Tanager measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
