Really pleased with how this one turned out - everything just seemed to work.

The Common Ringed Plover breeds in Arctic Eurasia.  They measure around 17 - 19.5 cm in length

Lilac Breasted Roller in acrylics

A few weeks ago, I painted an aceo of this bird but as I just love it's colouring, I wanted to paint another one but in larger format.  So I painted this one on a 6 x 8 inch panel.
