Grey Fantail in acrylics

 I took the reference photo for this one a few years back.  I love how it is perched on the branch.

It was the first time I had painted on an Aluminum Panel and they are a lovely surface to work on.   I do prefer them to some other panels that I have tried so will use them again.

Grey Fantail measures 8 x 6 inches and is painted on Art Spectrum's AlumaComp panel.

Lemon in acrylics

 I painted another still life for a change as I needed a bit of a break from detail. I love the contrast of the bright yellow lemon against the black background. 

Lemon measures 7 x 5 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth paper.
