Black Bulbul ACEO in acrylics

This one was a bit more tricky to paint that I thought it would be.  I did quite a few layers to get the depth to feathers.

The Black Bulbul is also known as the Himalayan Black Bulbul or Asian Black Bulbul and is found in Southern Asia.  They measure around 24 - 25 cm in length.

Black Bulbul measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth paper.
