Pacific Slope Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

This one was a bit more tricky to paint than I thought it would be.  I did quite a few glazes to get the depth to the feathers.


Pacific Slope Flycatchers are native to the coastal regions of western North America.  They measure between 15 - 17 cm in length and weigh between 8 - 12 grams.

Pacific Slope Flycatcher measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on Colourfix Smooth paper.
