Yellow Faced Grassquit ACEO in acrylics

This one was bit more tricky to paint than I thought it would be.  I did quite a few glazes to get the depth and colour to the feathers.


Yellow Bellied Grassquits are found in Central America tropics and surrounding regions. It measures between 10 - 10.7 cm and weigh around 8 - 10 grams.


Yellow Faced Grassquit measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on Colourfix Suede Paper.
