White Throated Sparrow ACEO in acrylics

This one was a bit tricky to paint.  I had to darken the background to get the bird to stand out a bit more and I used a few glazes to get depth to the feathers. 


White Throated Sparrows are found in North America.  They measure around 16 - 18 cm in length and weigh between 22 - 32 grams.


White Throated Sparrow measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
