Little Bee Eater ACEO in acrylics

I love the colouring of the bee eaters.  For this one, I decided to go for a more mottled background effect which works really well.

Little Bee - Eater's are found in much of sub Saharan Africa.  It is Africa's smallest Bee - Eater measuring only 15 - 17 cm in length.

Little Bee Eater  measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches Watercolour paper.
