Lemon Bellied Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

I couldn't resist painting this one - just love angle of its head.  Really pleased with the final painting.

The Lemon Bellied Flycatcher is found in tropical Northern Australia and measure around about 12 - 14 cm in length. 

Lemon Bellied Flycatcher measures 2.5 x 3.5 inches and is painting on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper. An interesting fact about these birds is that they build a tiny nest and only lay one egg.
