Australian Magpie No 4 in acrylics

I enjoy the challenge of painting black feathers so decided to paint another Magpie.  This time I decided to leave the white of the paper as the backdrop for the bird - really pleased with how it turned out.

This one was fun to paint - everything just seemed to work.

Emu in acrylics

I went with a bit of a different backgrounds colour for this one.  When I  was painting last weeks aceo's  I really liked the combinations of reds that I used and decided that a vibrant red background would complement the black bird really well.  Really pleased with how it turned out.
