Common Tody Flycatcher ACEO in acrylics

And for my next one I painted this little one.  I love the position it is perched on the branch.

The Common Tody Flycatcher is also known as the Black Fronted Tody Flycatcher and is found in Southern Mexico to north western Peru, Eastern Bolivia and southern Brazil.  It measures around 9.5  - 10.2 cm in length and weighs between 6.5 - 6.8 grams.

Common Tody Flycatcher measures 3.5 x 2.5 inches and is painted on 300 gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.

Many thanks to Dario Sanches for the reference photo.
