Bar - Throated Minla ACEO in acrylics

I love the colouring of this bird and the position it is perched on the branch.  Really pleased with how it turned out.

The Bar - Throated Minla is found on the Indian subcontinent and Southeast Asia.  They measure around 16 - 18.5 cm and weigh between 14 - 24 grams.

Bar - Throated Minla measures 3.5 x 2.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches watercolour paper.
