Wood Nuthatch ACEO in acrylics

I wasn't sure if this one was going to come together.  I had to do the background colour twice.  First time round, I made it too light so when I started the bird, it just didn't look right.  So I redid the background  colour and made it a lot darker.  I am rather pleased how it eventually turned out.  These birds can be found across Europe and Asia

Wood Nuthatch measures 3.5 x 2.5 inches and is painted on 300gsm smooth Arches Watercolour paper.
